India Stands in Solidarity with Afghanistan – Providing Relief Assistance

India expressed its solidarity with the people of Afghanistan and reaffirmed its commitment to providing necessary relief assistance. Following a powerful earthquake in Afghanistan’s eastern Paktika province, India swiftly dispatched 27 tons of relief material in two flights to address the difficulties faced by the Afghan people. The relief material, which includes tents, sleeping bags, blankets, and sleeping mats, will be handed over to the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) in Kabul. India emphasized its long-standing ties with Afghanistan and its dedication to providing immediate relief assistance to the Afghan people.
