A 34-year-old mother of two from India, who plans to marry her Facebook friend, will be returning to India after receiving approval from the Pakistani government, according to her husband.

In August, she was given the name Fatima after her marriage.

“We are currently awaiting the NOC (No-Objection Certificate) from the interior ministry in Islamabad, for which we have already submitted an application. The NOC process is quite lengthy and will take some time to complete,” said Anju’s Pakistani husband to PTI.

Once the necessary documents are prepared for both entry and exit at the Wagah Border point, Anju will be able to travel to India, he added.

He also mentioned that she will return to Pakistan after visiting her children in India.

“She will definitely come back as Pakistan is now her home,” he added.

Last month, Nasrullah stated that Anju was “mentally disturbed and deeply missing” her two children.

On July 25, Anju married her 29-year-old friend Nasrullah, who resides in the Upper Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They initially connected on Facebook in 2019.

Anju was previously married to Arvind, who lives in Rajasthan. They have a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.
