The Indian Embassy in Ukraine has requested all Indian nationals stranded in the war-torn country to urgently fill out a Google form. In addition to providing basic details, individuals are required to include their passport numbers, mobile numbers used in Ukraine and India, current location, accommodation details, and number of companions.

“All Indian nationals still in Ukraine are urged to complete the attached form as soon as possible,” the embassy tweeted.

Stay safe and strong.

Meanwhile, the Indian embassy in Hungary has initiated the final phase of Operation Ganga, the government’s evacuation mission for Indians stuck in Ukraine. Students residing in private accommodations are instructed to make their way to the Hungarian City Centre in Budapest.

Prime Minister chaired a meeting on Saturday to assess the situation in Ukraine and the evacuation efforts.

According to Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, only a few Indians remain in Ukraine, primarily in Sumy and Pisochyn. Bagchi expressed concern for Indian students in Sumy and stated that efforts are being made to ensure their safety through diplomatic channels.

“We are deeply concerned about the Indian students in Sumy, Ukraine. We have urged the Russian and Ukrainian governments for an immediate ceasefire to establish a safe passage for our students. Students are advised to take precautions, stay indoors, and avoid unnecessary risks. The Ministry and our Embassies are in constant communication with the students,” Bagchi tweeted.
