India criticized the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Tuesday for its divisive mindset and agenda against India. The strong reaction from India came in response to a statement from the OIC secretariat accusing the targeting of the Muslim community in several Indian states during Ram Navami processions. The spokesperson for the External Affairs Ministry, Arindam Bagchi, condemned the OIC’s statement, stating, “We strongly denounce the statement issued by the OIC Secretariat today regarding India. This is another example of their divisive mindset and anti-India agenda.” The statement also mentioned that the OIC is damaging its reputation by consistently being influenced by anti-India forces.
