Central India’s Strong Message to China: No One Will be Spared

In a stern warning to China, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that India will not spare anyone if it is harmed, emphasizing that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has become a powerful country on track to be one of the top three economies globally.

Addressing the Indian-American community in San Francisco, Singh subtly conveyed that India does not engage in a “zero-sum game” diplomacy and values its relationships with all countries.

During his visit to the US for the India US 2+2 ministerial in Washington DC, followed by meetings in Hawaii and San Francisco, the Defence Minister highlighted the bravery of Indian soldiers at the China border.

Singh alluded to the Ladakh border standoff and the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers, sending a strong message to China that India will not hesitate to defend itself if provoked.

India and China have engaged in multiple rounds of talks to resolve the Ladakh standoff, resulting in disengagement in certain areas last year.

Singh emphasized that India does not believe in a “zero-sum game” diplomacy and aims for mutually beneficial relationships with all countries.

India’s improving global image and economic growth trajectory were highlighted by Singh, who expressed confidence in India’s potential to become one of the top three economies in the world.

He called for the establishment of a vibrant trade ecosystem in India by its 100th independence Day in 2047, emphasizing the country’s growth under the Modi government.

Singh praised India’s progress under the Modi government, noting the country’s transformation into a powerful and self-reliant nation.

India’s strides in indigenization and digitization, as well as its contribution to the global IT sector, were acknowledged by the Defence Minister.

Singh reiterated India’s commitment to economic growth and welfare, highlighting the country’s resilience and recovery from the pandemic-induced setbacks.
