Union Home Minister Amit Shah Holds Review Meeting on Development and Security Situation in Jammu and Kashmir

Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a review meeting on Friday to assess the progress of development work and the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. This routine meeting involved the Home Minister evaluating the status of developmental projects and reviewing the security situation. JK Lieutenant Governor expressed satisfaction with the meeting’s outcomes.

The meeting was attended by NSA Ajit Doval, chiefs of Intelligence Bureau and RAW, Army chief M M Naravane, and senior officials of the Home Ministry. Sources revealed that during the security review, the Home Minister commended the forces’ operations in the Valley and assessed potential threats. Infiltration from across the border is reported to be low due to the winter season.

A statement from the MHA stated, “The Union Home Minister directed the further strengthening of the security grid.”
